Father of dew drops

Father of dew drops

Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew? (Job 38:28)

It had been raining in the night and I took Dilbert for a walk right after the sun came out for a moment. The dew – or rain – drops were gleaming in the sun. So beautiful, so fragile, so perfect. The scene reminded me of the conversation that took place between God and Job for a long time ago. God questions Job and reminds him of God´s omnipotence: He is in charge of everything. He is even the Father of dew drops. Therefore He knows what He is doing – also in our lives.

See, I am doing a new thing!

See, I´m doing a new thing!

This is my very first Bible verse picture ever. When I first looked at this photo, that I had made earlier today in our garden, my very first thought was from Is. 43:18-19: “Do not dwell on the past – See I´m doing a new thing…” May also this picture be a start for something new both for you and me. My prayer and longing is that making photos for His glory will bring me closer to Him, but also that you would hear His words of encouragement through these pictures of His creation.
